Elliott Aviation Hires John Murphy as Director of Paint and Interior

Following several recent completions of super-mid class aircraft including Falcon 900EX, Challenger 300 and Falcon 50s, Elliott Aviation has hired John Murphy as Director of Paint and Interior. With over 35 years of aviation experience, John was most recently employed with Jet Aviation in St. Louis as Senior Director of Completions.

In his 25 years at Jet Aviation (formerly Midcoast), he was involved in refurbishments and cabin reconfigurations on Gulfstream, Falcon and Challenger aircraft. He also has extensive experience in green aircraft completions, having completed approximately 200 projects on Challenger 601/604/605, 850 and Global Express.

Murphy will oversee nearly 70 paint and interior shop employees on two shifts at Elliott Aviation’s headquarters in Moline, IL. This includes employees in Elliott Aviation’s cabinet shop, finish shop, soft goods shop, aircraft strip bay, sand bay and their down-draft paint booth.
