Elliott Aviation, an authorized Embraer Phenom 100/300 Service Center, today announced their FAA STC approval for the activation and use of all Gogo Business Aviation Wi-Fi products in the Phenom 300. The STC allows airplane activation for all Wi-Fi standards including A, B, G, and N.
In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, the STC allows operation of Gogo’s UCS 5000, an all-in-one smart router and media server. The service includes the Gogo Vision all-in-one cabin entertainment system. Gogo Vision is business aviation’s first turn-key, on-demand, in-flight entertainment system that puts movies, TV episodes, news, weather, flight progress and more at your fingertips.
“As we are an authorized service center for the Phenom 300, the most delivered business jet in the world in 2013 and 2014, it made sense for us to complete this STC.” said Mark Wilken, Vice President of Avionics Programs and Operational Logistics, “This will allow passengers to conduct their daily business in flight.”
As an Authorized Service Center for Phenom 100/300, Elliott Aviation has factory-trained technicians and can handle all warranty work. The Moline Headquarters is a certified ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2009 Rev C facility. Earlier this year, Elliott Aviation performed one of the first aftermarket full paint jobs on a Phenom 300.
