Elliott Aviation Promotes Mark Wilken to Vice President of Avionics Programs and Operational Logistics

Elliott Aviation, a leader in aviation solutions with headquarters in Moline, IL, today announced the promotion of Mark Wilken to Vice President of Avionics Programs and Operational Logistics. He will now serve on the company’s senior leadership team consisting of Wynn Elliott, Greg Sahr, Jeff Hyland, Rick Michalski, Ed Chevrestt, Lawrence Harting and Todd Spangler.

In his new role, Wilken will provide leadership and direction for avionics sales, aftermarket avionics, engineering and certification, FBO and facilities, parts and government programs. He will report directly to the President of Elliott Aviation, Greg Sahr.

Wilken began his career at Elliott Aviation in 1989 as an Avionics Bench Technician repairing radios and quickly became manager of the department. Through his industry relationships, Wilken has been responsible for heading up many successful programs for the company including one of the most successful avionics retrofit programs in the history of aviation, the Garmin G1000 King Air retrofit program. He was most recently Director of Avionics Sales.
