The 400E program is a weight-saving interior upgrade, that when paired with the Garmin G5000 retrofit, increases the useful load of the aircraft of 350 pounds or more. The redesigned interior includes a modernized interior shell configuration with recessed headliner for more room, LED lighting, cup holder lights, USB charging ports and redesigned cabinetry. Customers can also select a la carte options for RGB lighting, toe kick accent lighting, electronic dimmable window shades and floor plan changes.
In addition to the 400E interior package, Elliott was the first dealer to retrofit a Garmin G5000 and currently working on three more G5000 installations. The company currently has 15 Garmin G5000 installations sold, more than all other dealers in the world, combined.
The Garmin G5000 avionics give the customer a completely new avionics system including a new Garmin autopilot. As one of the newest avionics systems in the industry, the G5000 provides the pilot and copilot with all the latest technologies and depending on options includes synthetic vision, electronic charts, XM weather, WAAS/LPV, ADS-B compliance, engine indication and MFD range rings.
“The 400E program is a great fit for our company and showcases our innovation and engineering capabilities,” said Greg Sahr, President of Elliott Aviation. “This program gives 400A/400XP the latest avionics and interior while giving the aircraft a significant increase in useful load. It also gives our customers many different options, so they are not forced into purchasing features they do not plan to use.”
