As the second-generation owner of Elliott Aviation, Wynn Elliott grew up in the aviation industry. His parents, Herb and Arlene founded the company in 1936. Wynn joined the company in 1978 as a line technician. He performed a wide range of duties within the company over the years, and served as general manager of the former Omaha facility before returning to Moline as a vice president in 1986. Wynn succeeded his father as president of the company in 1993.Wynn is founding member of the Pinnacle Air Network, an alliance of twenty-companies operating more than 40 fixed base operations (FBOs) and aircraft service centers in North America. He formerly served as a National Air Transport Association Board Member and Treasurer, serves on the board of directors of US Bank Quad Cities, is a past member of the Young President’s Organization and current member of the World President’s Organization. Wynn is a licensed pilot, holding a multi-engine and instrument rating endorsement.
