Retirement Announcement from Flying Cloud

FCM recently celebrated the retirement of Bob Kortum, an Aircraft Service Technician. Bob has been a huge asset to our operations through the years using his skills as a sheet metal expert, welder, highly skilled A&P Technician! He is much loved and respected by the Elliott Team! His pleasant and positive manner has been a bright spot during the last couple hard years here at Elliott.
Stan Melling, General Manager at FCM, said, “I have only had a short and privileged time to work with Bob and I can say that he represents the finest of Elliott Aviation in every respect.”
He has a teacher’s heart and has been helping to prepare the next generation of technicians. From sheet metal repairs and composite repairs to aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting, Bob has passed on knowledge and skills and so much more to our team here at FCM. Congratulations to Bob, and best wishes on retirement!

Below you will see photos from Bob’s retirement celebration. The framed picture is the work of Ashley Hazelmyer and the frame made by Nicholas Keske, two of Bob’s “protégés” in Minnesota and is a great representation of the whole team’s respect for Bob.
